I am a sustainable tourism specialist with communications and stakeholder engagement background, working on planning and implementing responsible tourism in emerging destinations. Specialising in the Caucasus region and in the Western Balkans, with practical experience in tourism potential and impacts assessment, DMO development, mountain and Protected Areas sustainable tourism, community engagement, sustainability training and destination marketing. I have advised on projects for the World Bank (Georgia), GIZ (Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Albania), WWF Caucasus and the Transcaucasian Trail project.
Following recent projects’ work for the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Georgia and Serbia, I am currently working for the GIZ in Albania on tourism development potential in rural and mountainous regions. I am also researching the community-Park relationships in a Protected Area in Georgia.

I have spoken at conferences related to sustainable tourism, written several articles, completed the GSTC Sustainable Tourism Training Program by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council in July 2017 and was later invited as a guest speaker for the online course for UN Development Programme in Armenia PM4SD blended training program .
